2011: Advisory Board member Sen. Jamie Eldridge leads hearing on Massachusetts Bill seeking comprehensive insurance coverage for cochlear implants.

2010: GOHF hosts first fundraiser in Rhode Island.

GOHF teams with RICDHH and other hearing loss organizations in Rhode Island to charter bills for better access to CIs.

2005: GOHF logo gets a "ride" on an Indy Race car!

SPENCER TWEED – GOHF’S IRON MAN – QUALIFIES FOR KONA!

Spencer Tweed, sporting the GOHF logo, placed THIRD in his class and 27th out of 2500 competitors in the Ironman Wisconsin Challenge on September 11th, 2011. This stellar performance has earned him a place in the Kona Ironman Challenge (October 2012).

CONGRATULATIONS, SPENCER!!

Spencer has dedicated his participation in these events as a fundraising challenge for the GOHF, and his goal is $4000. His supporters for the Wisconsin race got him almost 60% of the way there, so we will keep this challenge open until he hits his dream goal!

Spencer is raising these funds in honor of his mother, Julie Tweed, who is a bilateral cochlear implant recipient and member of the Board of Directors of the GOHF.
