In Memoriam

Jon E. Benedict 5/16/59 - 11/16/07

On November 16, 2007 The Gift of Hearing Foundation sadly lost a friend and ardent supporter after a brief but heroic battle with cancer.

Jon Benedict joined the GOHF Advisory Board in Spring of 2006. He immediately began donating his time and talent in developing our official corporate presentation for which we will always be grateful.

He leaves behind a loving wife, Courtney Whalen and baby daughter, Erin Elizabeth; large close-knit families, close friends and countless acquaintances.

Jon leaves us all with the gift of encouragement to enjoy life, as indeed he is proof it is all too brief. Those of us who had the pleasure of knowing Jon and working with him will long remember his optimism, generosity and hope. He will be missed.
